Williams graduates from Walters State with Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology

Former Morristown West High School standout in Volleyball and Basketball Jasmine Monique Williams graduated from West in 2016.

She was on the All-Conference team and MVP in 2016 District.

She holds the Landair Ladies’ Classic tournament record in basketball for 23 blocked shots during the tournament. She received collegiate offers for volleyball as well as basketball.

She received a full scholarship for basketball at Tusculum University in Greenville, TN.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science in 2020.

Went back to school in 2021 to Walters State Community College where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology in May of 2023.

She graduated Cum Laude.

She is now a Certified Surgical Technician.

She has plans of a bright career path as a Surgical Technician at a local hospital or in Knoxville, TN.

She is a member of Faith Temple Church of God In Christ in Morristown, TN. She is a fun-loving young lady, compassionate, loves her family and loves helping others.

She is the daughter of Kim Jones(George) of Morristown and Jimmie Williams of Durham, NC. She is the granddaughter of Clara Kyle, also of Morristown, TN.
