Curtis B. Woods

Curtis B. Woods, aged 81 of Dandridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

He was a deacon and devoted member of Piedmont Baptist Church. Retired from BASF after 30 years of service, after which he enjoyed most of all his family and farming his limousine beef cattle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Georgia Woods; sisters, Darlene Satterfield and Mary Scott; brothers, John Woods and Ronnie Woods.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Charlotte Woods; daughter Cindy Cagle (husband, John); sons Wayne (wife, Beth) and Chris (wife, Stacy); treasured grandchildren Laura Cagle (fiancé, Phil), Jacob Cagle (wife, Jess), Tanner, Tori, and Taryn Woods; brother-in-law Kenneth Scott; sister-in-law Jeanette Woods; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

If you knew Curt, he was the happiest when he was with his family, especially his grandchildren, who enjoyed his lifetime of stories, silly songs, and infinite wisdom.

He was a 50-year member of Brazleton Lodge #190 F.&A.M., and a Shriner of Kerbela Temple.

The services will be at Piedmont Baptist Church on Monday, June 12 at 7pm with a receiving of friends from 4 – 7pm.

Graveside will be on Tuesday, June 13 at 11am at Swan’s Chapel Cemetery.
