Mary “Eva” Fisher passed away on 6/13/2023 at Abernathy Laurels, Newton, NC, after a period of declining health from dementia. Eva had resided at Abernathy Laurels since Nov. 2019 and previously lived in Morristown, TN most of her life.

A graveside service will be held at Hamblen Memorial Gardens in Morristown on June 30th at 3:00 PM with Rev. Richard Long officiating. Preceding the service, the family will receive friends at Allen Funeral Home on 200 Jaybird Road in Morristown from 12:30-2:30.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Pat Summit Foundation or to the Dementia Society of America. The family also wishes to thank all the caring staff at Abernathy Laurels and Carolina Caring hospice care.
