Rose Center Summer Players to put on ‘The Little Prince’

Rose Center’s Summer Players production returns July 28-30 with The Little Prince by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, adapted from the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
Directed by Andrew Alder, the cast of fifteen Hamblen County and surrounding-area students is helmed by Caroline Massa as the Aviator and Addison Bolden as The Little Prince, supported by Lyla Carey, Emerson Meek, Henry Massa, Cecilia Dempster, Michaela Kramps, Cash Ford, Averie Collins, Molly Williams, Dorrah Kelly, Cara Crawford, Isaac Drew, Judah Hoskins and Ethan May.
The Little Prince marks Rose Center’s first full youth production since 2018, produced by Arts Education Coordinator Kelli Sexton.
“We are so thankful to our generous sponsors and volunteers for helping to make Summer Players happen in 2023,” said Sexton. “This cast and production team have worked hard to create an entertaining and thought-provoking show and we can’t wait to show the community!”
The Little Prince will be shown on July 28th and 29th at 7:00 p.m. and July 29th and 30th at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Center’s Prater Hall.
The cost of tickets is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 10 and under. Tickets may be purchased through the Rose Center website or at the door the day of the performance.
