Robert “Doyle” Self, 75, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 14, 2023. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Oleta Self; wives, Maxine Hayes Self and Betty Sykes Self; and his sister-in-law, Jennie Self.

He is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Gail) Self, Henry David Self; sister, Evelyn (Kenny) Porterfield; and nieces and nephews, Lynn Self, Melissa Lyle, David Self, Travis Porterfield, and Lindsey Porterfield Ellison.

Funeral Services were held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverends Danny Lamb and Travis Porterfield officiating.

The family received friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the services.

Interment followed in Dover Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Allen Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
