West boys, East girls win Monday golf match

The Morristown West boys and the Morristown East girls golf teams took home wins on Monday at The Country Club.
On the boys side, West won with a team scored of 158. East finished second with a 164, Greeneville third with a 172 and Grainger fourth with a 193.
For the girls, East won with a score of 93. Grainger finished second at 116, and West finished third at 123.
The medalist on the boys side was a three-way tie as West’s Todd Greene, Eas’s Hunter Worth and Greeeneville’s Gavin Sells each shot a 37.
The girls medalist was East’s Sydeny Courtney and Greeneville’s Brylee Catron with a 41.
Along with Greene for the West boys, Greyson Smith and Luke Lindsey each shot 39. Jace Collake was next with a 43, while Brance Matthews shot a 50.
For East along with Worth, Mason Smith shot a 41 while Trevyn Beam finsihed with a 42. Rounding out the team waas Blake Johns with a 44, Parker Spoone with a 45 and Clint Hemminger with a 45.
On the girls side, Courtney was joined by McKinley Hamilton who shot a 52 for East. For West, Audrey Noe shot a 58 and Sophie Davis shot a 65.
