Oaty Ralph Davis, 80 years old of Sneedville, Tennessee, passed away on August 3, 2023.

He was a lifetime member and Deacon for 25 years at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was saved at a young age at Cedar Flat Missionary Baptist Church.

His love for the Lord and people was unmatched. He never met a stranger. Ralph retired from Coca-Cola after 33 years.

He had several other jobs as well, however, his greatest honor was being his wife’s caretaker and staying by her side every day until her passing.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie “Rebe” Davis, of 58 years. Parents: Reverend Thea and Velma Davis. Brothers: Reverend Bruce (Susie) Davis and Jim (Sue) Davis. Sisters: Lorraine (Milt) Greer and Fern (Roy) Keaton. Granddaughter: Leigha Robertson.

He was dearly loved by his family and leaves behind a precious legacy.

Survivors include Children: Gail Davis, Connie Davis Mitchell, and Allen Dale (Carrie Mae) Davis. Grandchildren: Matthew (Chandra) Greene and Dakota (Kayla) Trent. Great Grandchildren: Baileigh, Korbin, and Tatum Greene, and Kolton Trent. Sisters: Linda (Roger) Greene and Freda Davis.

Several nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly. A host of special friends will always remember his uncanny ability to know what people needed.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 from 5 till 8 PM at McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville, TN.

Family and Friends will meet on Sunday, August 6th, 2023 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church for a 2 PM

Funeral service with the Reverend Jeff Seal, Reverend Roger Louthan, and Reverend Curt Seal officiating.

Following the Funeral service family and friends will travel in procession to Brewer’s Chapel Church Cemetery for the interment with Allen Dale Davis, Matthew Greene, Dakota Trent, Robert Greer, Stevie Greene, Anthony Davis, and Ralph Davis serving as Pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy “Moe” Greer, Mike Greer, Jimmy Davis, Dewayne Davis, Tony Davis, Bobby Keaton, Jerry Lee Brooks, Donnie Standifer, Tatum Greene, and Kolton Trent.
