The Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce along with the Citizen Tribune will be hosting its annual Business Showcase on September 14.

This event is designed for local businesses to come together and show the community what they have to offer. The 2022 Business Showcase had the biggest turnout to date and the 2023 showcase is expected to exceed those numbers.

The event is free to the public. Seventy local businesses will be set up passing out free products and information about their services and several local restaurants will be in attendance handing out free food samples.

Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Sales and Marketing Pat Seaver says the 2023 Business Showcase is gearing up to be one of the best and with so many new businesses opening in Morristown.

The Business Showcase is a great way to get your business’s name out in the community and equally beneficial for the general public to enjoy face-to-face interaction with the individual behind the businesses, Seaver said.

“New businesses are opening in the Lakeway Area and this is an excellent opportunity to learn what Morristown has to offer,” Seaver said.

Booth spaces are still available for purchase until August 25 for a total of $195, booth spaces purchased after August 25 will be $250. Spaces measure 8×10 ft and will fit one 6 ft table and two chairs.

Local businesses interested in renting a booth at this event can contact Pat Seaver at the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce at 423-586-6382.
