Anthony Lynn Morgan, age 55, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.

He was a long-time racecar driver. He drove car #26 in memory of his dad, John Morgan.

He was track champion at Tazewell and won several races at Bulls Gap for many years. Anthony was also a champion pool player.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Wilma Morgan; and sister, Frances Elaine Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of twenty nine years, Crystal Morgan; sons, Brandon Lynn Morgan and Anthony Michael Morgan; daughter, Jessica Danielle Morgan; brothers, Billy (Michelle) Morgan and Johnny (Sharon) Morgan; sisters, Debra “Deb” Roberts and Donna (James) Morgan; special nephew, DeWayne (Kimberly) Morgan; several nieces and nephews; and his furry friend, Toby.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 10th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 11th at House of Prayer Church with Rev. Eddie Gray officiating. The body will lie in state from 12 – 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow at Long-Berry Cemetery in Bulls Gap.
