Brenda Kay Turner, age 73 of Morristown fought a good fight, finished her course, kept the faith, and has gone to receive her crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:7 & 8) on Monday, August 28th. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Brenda loved her friends, and family but, especially her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tyler and Mary Weston, sisters, Donna Woods and Lola Mae Dence, and brother, Alvin Weston.

She is survived by loving husband of 55 years Rev. John R. Turner, daughter, Jennifer (Terry) Winstead, son, Richard (Christy) Turner, grandchildren, Tyler, Kyndel, Hannah, and Emma Winstead, and Taylor Turner, sister, Ann Thacker, special relatives, Melody (Nathan) DuBois and Whitney Carpenter.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm at Central Baptist Church, with a funeral service beginning at 7pm. The family will meet at Bethesda Cemetery on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10am for a graveside service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to TN Food on Foot Foundation or The Daily Bread.
