In an effort to continue to invest in the electrification of transportation, MU has installed two new Level 2 charging stations.
One is located at its work center on Jarnigan Avenue and the most recent has been installed at their main office on W. 1st North street.
“We believe our responsibility is to make new technologies like EVs available to our community so individuals can enjoy the environmental and economic benefits of electric transportation,” stated Jody Wigington, General Manager.
Morristown Utilities is committed to the development and implementation of new technologies like charging infrastructure in the community.
Drivers can stop in and charge their EV at the Jarnigan Avenue location Monday through Friday during business hours, and 24/7 at the station on W. 1st North, both at a rate of .22¢/kWh.
