Brian Keith Parley Johnson, 56 of Dandridge, Tn. formerly of Pocahontas, Va. passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born March 11th 1967 in Bluefield, WV; the son of William Parley and Juanita Johnson of Pocahontas, VA.

“You can shed a tear when I am gone or I rather you smile because I Lived!” …

His favorite pass time was cooking on his grill, watching Pittsburgh Steelers, sitting on his back porch, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his dad, William Parley Johnson; grandparents, Clyde and Daisy Sluss, Early and Minnie Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memory his mother, Juanita Sluss Johnson of Pocahontas, Va.; his Wife of 30 years, Billie Lynn Hayton Johnson; four children, Anthony Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Jack Sarver, Autumn Sarver all of Dandridge, Tn.; four very special grandchildren, Khloe Click, Colton McCloud, Octavia Sarver, Anastasia Sarver; two sisters, Rebecca Morris of Columbia S.C., Kaye Crist and husband, Gary of Princeton, WV; two brothers, Billy Johnson and wife, Sharon of Green Valley, Jimmy Gullion Johnson of Pocahontas, Va.; two special brother-in-law’s that he called Brother, Gary Crist and Steve Morris; along with his dear friend, John Wallace of Kentucky; and a host of many friends including his work buddies.

The family is being served by Stetzer-Bales Funeral home in Morristown Tn. and at Keith’s request he will be cremated and desires no service.

“I got the best view ever now that I’m way up here joking ‘round with Jesus, catching up with Dad.”
