Nellie C. Knight Brewer, age 81 of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Conzatia Ashley Barrett; sisters Jessie Owens Roberts, Wilma Valentine, Charlene Camiola and Wanda Rizzo.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ben Brewer; children Tammy (David) Smith, James Knight, Sandi (Chris) Castellaw; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Rogers, brothers Jim (Joyce) Barrett, Ronnie (Meschelyn) Barrett and several nieces and nephews and special aunt and uncle Jack and Edith Barrett.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, 7:00 p.m. at Witt Baptist Church. Family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service at the church between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. She loved her church family and had a special place in her heart for her Sunday School class.
