Havard Lee Street, age 80 of White Pine, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, August 21, 2023.

He was a member of Nina Baptist Church where he was instrumental in the building of the new sanctuary. Havard was retired from BASF.

He was a kind and gentle soul and was always willing to lend a helpful hand in any situation and the word NO wasn’t in his vocabulary.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Edna Dean Moyers Street.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Georgia Gulley Street, daughters, Samantha (Chris Thedford) Street and Shelly (Rabon) Coleman, special brother-in-law, Ira Lee Gulley and several other family members.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 7:00pm in Nina Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Wayne McKinney officiating.

Family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm prior to the service at the church. Graveside Interment Service will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.

The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers, memorials be made to Nina Baptist Church in memory of Havard, to go to the Disaster Relief Fund.
