Former Sheriff Esco Jarnagin stopped by the Morristown Hamblen Library to donate a book that was given to him by the authors.

This book will be in the reference section of the Library and will not be available to take home but to browse while in the library.

The value contained in this book can not be measured.

Stars Over Tennessee includes the history of all 95 county Sheriffs and 244 years.

It is a fantastic book with information about the county, the sheriff’s badges, uniform patches, color photos, and more. The authors were a husband and wife team, Ronnie and Lynn M. Erwin.

Unfortunately, Lynn did not get to see the book’s completion but made her husband promise to finish without her. There is a dedication and a photo of her inside.

The Morristown-Hamblen Library is glad to add this to the collection.
