From Contributed Reports Tennessee was well represented at the international meeting of the Order of the Amaranth Supreme Session held in Pittsburgh. Members traveled from as far away as Australia and the Philippines to be represented. There were 16 delegates from Tennessee who were able to attend the session. Four of those attending was from local Court No. 20. Kelly Pickering of Sunrise Court No. 20 is the Grand Royal Matron of Tennessee. Cindy Brooks, Dianne Madsen and Donna Winstead, who are also members of Sunrise Court No. 20, also attended. Their major charity is diabetic research. Last Spring at the Tennessee Grand Court Session held in Gatlinburg, Grand Royal Matron of Tennessee Pickering presented a check for $10,010.90 towards diabetic research. During the Supreme Session in Pittsburgh, a check for $510,000 was presented to the American Diabetes Association. The members are extremely proud of their efforts toward finding a cure.
