On February 22nd, 2025 Jerri M Hensley passed away peacefully. She was 91 years old. Jerri was a long-time resident of Morristown and was the loving mother of five children.

Jerri was a long-standing member of Highland Baptist Church in Whitesburg, TN. She enjoyed singing in church and was known for her beautiful voice. She was also an accomplished painter and an amazing cook. She was employed at The Blue Circle, Western Sizzlin Steak House, and Anchor Brush.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Jack, and by her son Gary Self and daughter Lisa Burton. She is survived by three children, Tina Hensley, Phil Hensley, and Lori Clark, all of Morristown, by sister Judy McCann, and 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27th at Stubblefield Funeral Home, 5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN with the funeral immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to Highland Baptist Church, 7455 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Whitesburg, TN 37891.
