Betty Jo Lawson, age 93, wife of Chester Lawson, died February 18, 2025.  She was the daughter of Hugh & Ruby (Wolfe) Livesay.  Her hobbies included gardening, quilting and volunteering at the local fire hall.  Everyone relied on her knowledge of agriculture, delicious recipes and planting based on moon phases.

She is survived by a multitude of family and friends

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the McNeil Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in the Lawson Cemetery in Thorn Hill.
