Snowman? Roger Lamb kicks his snow art up a notch for his fiance

With plenty of snow on the ground, love in his heart and time on his hands, Roger Lamb spent some time over the weekend to craft some yard art for his fiancé.
Lamb said he got the idea after scrolling on TikTok looking a snowmen and other snow art and thought he could craft something to express his affection for Denise Black. An enormous, imprinted flower was the result.
“We’ve been together for about ten years now and we’re close,” he said. “She’s so good to me. She goes out of her way to show me how much she loves me, so I like doing little things for her, too.
“I made it for Denise — just a little something to tell her I love her, and she was tickled to death with it,”
Lamb said he wouldn’t let her see the creation until it was done, and when she saw it there may have been “a tear or two.”
“She couldn’t believe I did that,” he said. “I got some good brownie points there.”
The process to create the flower, which fills up most of Lamb’s front yard, was relatively simple, but time consuming.
“It takes a little bit to do it,” he said. “You have to trace everything out with your feet.”
He then took a pump sprayer and put food-coloring infused water to color in the flower.
The snow flower will fade with the next warm weather day, but the impression will be around long after.
Lamb said if people want to come to take a look at the flower before Tuesday’s rains wash it away, they can see the flower at 445 Navaho Trail in Talbott.
