Patricia “Diane” Snyder
Patricia “Diane” Snyder, 71, of Spring Hill, FL, went to be with the Lord February 26, after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was a member at Guthrie’s Gap Primitive Baptist Church of Bulls Gap, TN. She worked for her father at Carroll Snyder Plumbing for many years, later, became an LPN and retired from Life Care Centers of America. Her parents, Carroll and Mary Jo Snyder precede her in death.
Survivors include, her children, Heather (Chris) Wolfe and Jeremiah (Erica) Weston; grandchildren, Ava Grace Wolfe and Ormsby Weston; niece, whom she cherished like a daughter, Kimberly Johnston and her children, whom she loved like grandchildren, Blake Smith and Sammie Jo (Damian) Terwilliger, and great-great nephew, Ryker; and special friends Sue Miller, Irene Wolfe, Debbie Maltba, and Pam Holt.
She was a devout Christian and devoted mother who was saved at an early age. Family was everything to her; she always put her children and grandchildren first. Diane’s life can be summed up as a caretaker; she always put everyone else’s needs before her own. After she retired from nursing, she continued to call and check on her patients. The mom in her always wanted family traditions to live on through her children and grandchildren. She also had a passion for cooking, which she inherited from her mother and instilled in her own children. Other hobbies of Diane’s included watching the Game Show Network, the Hallmark Channel, and anything involving University of Tennessee sports programs.
The family especially thanks, The Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, FL and St. Joseph’s North Hospital of Lutz, FL.
