Remember the poet shirt episode from the sitcom, Seinfeld? An entire show was created around that shirt. Well, it’s back and “bigger” than ever this spring! It’s that poet look that’s going to steal the fashion scene.

Blouses will feature dimensional layers with lots of romantic flowy fabrics that bring back the preppy scholar looks of balloon sleeves, ruffles, large collars, and tie at the neck options.

Bottoms also take a flowy bubble look in silhouettes of barrel leg pants tapered at the ankle, while super wide leg ankle pants continue the trend.

Jackets feature utilitarian pocket styles, crop boxy pieces, and lots of fit-and-flare possibilities.

You’ll see a patchwork of prints working together, including retro vibes. Plaids, dots, animal prints, florals and paisley…it’s all blossoming into the clothing scene this spring.

Colors of light mauvy pink, peach, icy blue and soft teal greens, and lots of tranquil creamy whites. Punches of yellows, golds, and reds brighten it up.

Accessories polish the outfit with bold statement pieces. Silk necklaces with coin style pendants, lots of links and rhinestones.

Silky scarves tied at the neck offer that smart look, while thin cotton flowy scarves add dimension that seems to soften it up. You’ll see more designer scarves with botanical and toile prints featured on denim jackets.

Denim continues to be very strong and we are loving everything denim—all shades, including the soft feel and stretchy comfort—straight to wide legs styles are strongest and the styles offer many shoe wear options.

Denim on denim is all the fashion scene rage.

Sneakers, sandals, and flat loafers will be your favorite go-to this spring and summer. Polished athleisure dresses, lounge separates, and loose fitting tennis style shorts continue to offer buttery soft knits…that we continue to love.

It’s the early 90’s all over again. Bigger is better and the more the better! Break out the Time Machine and style up!
