Historic Rutledge Church Restoration to be celebrated with community event April 25

Clinch-Powell will host a Community Celebration to celebrate the restoration of the Historic Rutledge Presbyterian Church building Saturday, April 25 starting at 5 p.m.
A grand opening ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. with guest speakers and announcements to share exciting news about downtown Rutledge, followed by live bluegrass music by Tennessee Borderline.
For those who love a side of BBQ with their bluegrass, Swiney’s BBQ will be set up onsite during the event.
As a blessing to the community, Clinch-Powell will be giving $5-off meal vouchers for Swiney’s BBQ to attendees who register at the event (valid during event hours and while supplies last).
Registration is required and individuals must be present to receive a voucher. Swiney’s will begin serving at 5 p.m.
Everyone is invited to come out to explore the historic church and enjoy good food, fellowship, and live bluegrass music.
The event and parking are free.
