Rose Center to host stand-up comedy Saturday
An evening of stand-up comedy featuring Lance Adams and Friends will take the stage Saturday, April 11, at 8 p.m., in Perk Prater Hall at the Rose Center for the Arts in Morristown.
Highlighting the time-honored art of stand-up comedy, this event offers a hilarious showcase of acclaimed comedians from across Appalachia. Come enjoy a night of laughter-filled fun, as they offer wry and witty observations and twists on the highs and lows of daily life, daydreaming, and beyond.
Host Kris Bell is a comedian and filmmaker, as well as being The Grand Duke of Spook, aka The Monster of Scaremonies for the CreepyCon Halloween and Horror Convention. Kris has been in the entertainment scene for more than 10 years and has performed everywhere from his local scenes in Knoxville, all the way to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Come experience the high energy antics of everyone’s favorite “foolish phantom” LIVE at Rose Center.
Featured comic Chris Ferris is a comedian from Charleston, West Virginia. Recently, he opened for Chris Kattan and was the 2025 Charleston Roastamania champion. He was also a finalist in last year’s “Bristol’s Funniest.” His comedy will make you snort, cringe, and rethink every life decision.
Headliner Lance Adams was born and raised in Morristown. A husband, father, comedian, actor, and even … a competitive beardsman, he has toured all over the Southeast, bringing his wild and animated style of storytelling to stages since 2013.
Lance has opened for many national touring headliners, such as Steve Hofstetter, Sam Miller, Billy Wayne Davis and more.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and guests may bring their own beverages and snacks to the event.
This show will contain adult content and language, and is intended for adults ages 18 and up.
