The North Hamblen County Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual BBQ and cruise-in on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 787 Noes Chapel Road.

The event will feature barbecue plates and bulk meat sales, including Boston butts for $8.50 per pound, whole beef briskets (average 14 pounds) for $140, and pork loin options ranging from $20 to $45. Homemade sides such as sauce, slaw and baked beans will be available for $5 per 16-ounce container.

Meal plates will also be sold, including pulled pork and tenderloin dinners for $12, beef brisket dinners for $15 and a three-meat dinner for $20. All dinners include baked beans, slaw, a roll and a drink. Pineapple upside-down cakes will be available for $4 each or four for $15.

The event will also include a cruise-in open to all vehicles and activities for families, including a bounce house.
