Riverview Baptist Church, of Newport, will have a one-day “Illumination Station” Vacation Bible School on Saturday, June 20 with registration at the church’s front door beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Classes will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. “Illumination Station” is the brightest day of the year. While many people claim to know about Jesue, many are in the dark about who He really is. Attendees will explore all of the ways Jesus’ light “Brightens, Illuminates, Reflects and Reveals…Shining Brightly, in our dark world.” An adult class will focus on the book of Revelation.

There will be crafts and games for the children. A hamburger and hot dog lunch will be served. Everyone welcome. The church is located at 644 River Road in Newport.
