Milligan announces no increase in tuition for 27-28 school year
MILLIGAN, Tenn. (June 2, 2026) — For the third consecutive year, Milligan University will keep undergraduate tuition rates flat, continuing the university’s commitment to affordability and student success.
The tuition freeze reflects Milligan’s ongoing effort to provide a high-quality, Christ-centered education while helping students and families navigate the rising costs of higher education. Nearly 99% of Milligan students receive financial aid in large part due to the generous merit-based scholarships offered. For many Tennessee students, the cost of attending Milligan is comparable to public universities after aid.
“Keeping tuition flat for a third year demonstrates our commitment to making a Milligan education accessible and attainable,” said Dr. Stephen Waers, President of Milligan University. “Students and families should not have to choose between affordability and quality. At Milligan, they can experience both.”
Milligan combines small class sizes, personalized mentorship and strong career outcomes with a nationally respected academic experience. It is recognized as #11 in U.S. News & World Report as a Best Value School in the South, as well as a 20262027 College of Distinction.
