Crash

Update: The area around the intersection of Cumberland and Lincoln has reopened to traffic following a crash that closed the intersection earlier in the day. 

Previously: 

Morristown Utilities is on the scene after a traffic crash chopped down a utility pole and brought down the signals at the intersection of South Cumberland and Lincoln Ave.

The intersection will be closed for several hours, causing traffic delays which are expected to affect pick up at Lincoln Elementary and Middle Schools.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash.  

Currently, S. Cumberland St. is closed to traffic in both directions between Brown Ave. and Scenic Drive.

Lincoln Ave. is closed from Freshour to S. Cumberland St.

Algonquin Dr. is closed from Peck Ave. to S. Cumberland St.

The Morristown Police Department is asking all drives to use caution in the area and to use alternative routes.
