Greeneville’s boys and girls golf teams swept Monday’s four-way match against Morristown West, Jefferson County and Cherokee at The Country Club.
West placed second on both sides, finishing with a team score of 170 in the boys match as Sloan Brooks led the way with a 40.
Kevin Campbell finished just behind him at 41 while Noah Morrison had a 44 and Eli Steisslinger shot 45 to make up the team total, with Brock Shultz (46) and Aidan Townsend (49) also representing the Trojans.
Charlie Strange was the boys medalist with a 38 for Greeneville while Dougie Fezell and Joseph Gosnell both shot 41 with Alex Broyles finishing at 42 for the team score of 162.
Blaise Donahoo (42), Noah Henshaw (43) and Jacob Moore (44) led the way for Jefferson County, while Ethan Daniels and Trent Daniels both shot 48 with only one scorecard needed for the third-place score of 177.
Isaac Lindsey (50), Ryan Smith (55), Tyler Lawson (57) paced Cherokee with Brady Forgety and Brayden Lawson both carding a 62, only one of which was required for the team total of 224.
West’s girls fell just two strokes shy of Greeneville as Savannah Wampler shot 47 and Jamie Shepard finished at 48 for the team score of 95 while Laryn Reed carded a 54.
Madi McCullough (45) and Lexi Humbert (48) led Greeneville to victory with a team score of 93.
Madison Cline (42) and Meice Payne (54) accounted for Jefferson County’s third-place score of 96, just three strokes off the victory and one off second place.
Makayla Elkins (61) and Alexis Larmer (64) led the way for Cherokee (125).
