In Morristown Rec League action Monday, Short Styx downed Hit R’ Miss 29-9 in men’s softball, with Logan Gilmer providing a home run and a triple for the Styx, Chase Conley hit two home runs and a double and Mason Swint had a homer.

Compton’s Automotive defeated Norris Knockin Birds 13-9. Gerg Pomarico and Scott Compton both hit dingers for Compton. Norris got two homers from Nate Potter and one from Tyler Starnes.

Murray Auto Repair took down the Foul Balls 24-14. Richie Coffey had two home runs and Tyler Britt hit one and a triple for Murray. Jeremy Western had a tater for the Foul Balls.

The Morristown Logistics Vipers upended the Dad Bods 28-13. David Slagle hit two grand slams in the game for the Vipers. Adam Shepard notched a homer and a double for the Bods.

In women’s volleyball play, Spiked Punch took out Sister Act, 2-1. Neon’s defeated Latinas 2-1, KFC Chicks won 2-1 over Settin Pretty, South Side downed Holt’s IGA 2-1, RBC swept Colorettes 3-0, Settin’ Better did the same to compassion Church, 3-0 as did Phillips Medical, who defeated Akita Express 3-0. Morristown Logistics won 3-0 over the Pretenders and Spin Cycle notched a victory over The Design Shoppe, 2-1.

In Men’s volleyball, the Spikaholics took down the Misfits, 2-1. Young & Restless swept The Crew, 3-0 and Audio Concepts brought out the broom against Colortech, winning 3-0.
