Adam Shelton hit for the cycle with winning pitcher Danny Woodbury hitting two home runs and two singles, Steven Latchford going long and finishing a triple shy of the cycle and Josh Knight hitting a home run with three singles as Synchronized A2B outlasted Dad Bods 23-15 in Morristown Parks and Recreation Men’s Fall League Softball action at McDaniel-Mayes Field.

Clinton Gilbert hit a home run and a single in the defeat, which Ryan Atkins took.

Scottie Dixon slugged a pair of home runs and Keith Hixon went yard twice along with an inside-the-park home run as Foul Balls downed the Noggin Knockers 25-17. Cheyenne Kite got the win over Brandon Wilson, and Steve Glassie homered twice with a double while Allen Cruey went yard twice with a single in the defeat.

Denise Howard smacked two home runs, a double and a single to lead Akita Express over Morristown Logistics Viper 22-6. Jeff Taylor notched the win over Shannon Walters, and Allen Estes homered twice in the loss.

Steve Hasselbusch smoked three home runs to lead Hit R Miss past Norris Knockin’ Birds at Jones-Hodge Field. Hugh Cockrum got the win over Dustin Early, and Daniel Martin homered with two singles in the loss. No score was reported.

Isaiah McKinney went long with a double and two singles, Brandon Helton homered with a triple and a single and Daniel Owen finished with two doubles and two singles to lead Kawasaki past Compton’s Auto Repair 18-5. Roger Rich singled twice in the loss, which Scott Compton took. No winning pitcher was reported.

Holt’s IGA won by forfeit over Short Stix.

Men’s Volleyball

Young & Restless rallied after dropping game one 27-25 to win the last two sets 25-13 and 25-13 to take a 2-1 triumph over the Spikaholics at Union Heights.

The Crew won in straight sets over Colortech 25-18, 25-11 and 25-19.

Audio Concepts clinched a 2-1 win over the Misfits with 25-19 and 25-15 wins in the first two sets before dropping the third set 26-24.

Women’s Volleyball

Spiked Punch won the decisive third set to claim a 2-1 win over Latina’s 25-19, 23-25 and 25-20 at Talley-Ward.

Morristown Logistics rebounded after losing the first set 25-22 to win the final two sets 25-18 and 25-15 and claim a 2-1 triumph over The Design Shoppe.

Tillman Construction won in straight sets over the Pretenders 25-17, 25-19 and 25-16.

The Neons took a straight-set win over U.S. Diabetes Care 25-16, 25-21 and 25-12.

Phillips Medical won in straight sets over Ty’s Outboard 25-12, 25-15 and 25-17.
