Morristown West nearly fell victim to a fourth-quarter Clinton comeback, but hung on for a 64-60 win in overtime Tuesday night at Clinton High School.

The Lady Trojans held a 42-38 lead heading into the final period, but threes from Naiyah Sanders and Karleigh Kellepoury helped cut the lead down and the game was tied, 52-52, at the end of regulation.

While long distance shots helped keep the Lady Dragons alive, it was West’s aggression at the goal that would win the day. Hannah Seals hit a three in the extra period and went 6-of-7 at the free throw line to close out the game.

Seals’ three was the only field goal the Lady Trojans needed in the overtime frame.

Nina Lovelace and Lexi Howard led Morristown West with 16 points apiece. Seals finished with 15.

Sanders put in 27 for Clinton with Sarah Burton contributing 16.
