GREENEVILLE — Morristown West’s boys golf team came in second place while the girls placed third in Monday’s match against Greeneville and Grainger at Link Hills Country Club.

Kevin Campbell led Morristown West’s boys with a 38. Eli Steisslinger shot 40 and Sloan Brooks carded a 41 with Noah Morrison’s 44 rounding out the team score of 163.

Owen Robinson (47), Brock Shultz (51) and Aidan Townsend (52) also competed for the Trojans.

Alex Broyles carded a 37 to lead Greeneville to victory with 154 strokes. Dougie Fezell and Carter Beach both shot 38 with Joseph Gosnell finishing at 41.

Ashton Bayse (45), Blaine Moore (46) and Ben Younker (57) represented Grainger as individuals.

On the girls side, Savannah Wampler (51) and Jamie Shepard led the way for West’s team score of 103, with Laryn Reed (54) also representing the Lady Trojans.

Maddi McCullough (43) and Lexi Humbert (44) led Greeneville to victory with 87 strokes while Grainger (98) placed second led by Neely Yates (45) and Josie Harbin (53).
