KNOXVILLE — Ibby Petre tied the Knox West school record for career goals, at Morristown West’s expense.

Petre found the back of the net four times and helped the Lady Rebels take down MoWest 5-3 on Tuesday night.

Petre scored in the opening minute and completed the hat trick with five minutes remaining in the first half at Knox West (4-2-2, 1-0 District 2-AAA), and her fourth came in the final 10 minutes for the final tally.

Emily Spain scored two goals for the Lady Trojans (3-3-1, 1-2), who equalized after Knox West’s first goal and grabbed a 2-1 lead over the Lady Rebels who then equalized in the sixth minute.

Avory Robinson also found the back of the net for MoWest, with Isabel Carattini and Amaya Yarid dishing out 1 assist each.

MoWest looks to finish at 2-2 in conference play as it ventures to Jefferson County on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Leroy Shannon Field.
