The Lakeway Christian Academy Lady Lions are heating up after another win added to the books after they beat Concord Christian 12-0 in Tuesday’s Division II-A District 1 game.

All it took was five innings for the Lady Lions to claim themselves victorious.

LCA’s Katie Fultz pitched all five innings and struck out nine, only allowing two hits.

The Lady Lions finished with a season-high 15 hits and 11 RBIs.

Fultz went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI. Alyssa Williams finished 2-for-4 at bat with her two RBIs and Myla Russell went 2-for-3 at the plate bringing home one runner.

Katie Whitaker also went 3-for-3 and had the game-high three RBIs. Abbey Goodall also went 3-for-3 at bat while three other Lady Lions got hits.

LCA is now 8-4 overall on the year and 4-2 in DII-A District 1 play.
