The fourth quarter was not kind to the Cocke County Lady Red against the Fulton Lady Falcons in the Farragut Thanksgiving Tournament.

Cocke County took a 41-39 lead with it into the fourth quarter but only squeezed out four points in the final eight minutes. Fulton, however, ignited for 16 in the fourth to take down the Lady Red, 55-45.

The Lady Red played Fulton close the whole first half, only trailing 12-11 at the end of one. Fulton did separate itself with a tiny lead of four points at the half, though.

An 18-point third quarter put Cocke County on top as Paige Neithammer and Camryn Halcomb combined for 13 points in the period.

Unfortunately, after the fiery quarter, Neithammer was the only player to score for the Lady Red in the fourth quarter with her four points.

Fulton’s Sammy Taylor got the job done with her eight points in the fourth to add to her game-high 24 points.

Halcomb finished with a team-high 16 points and Neithammer followed with 12 points. Destiny Reese, Kirsten Moore, Sydney Clevenger and Gracie Gregg each had three points, and Jaylen Cofield added four.
