Morristown West celebrated its volleyball senior night on Monday as the Lady Trojans racked up a 2-0 victory over Grainger County at Michael R. Reed Gymnasium.

KNOXVILLE-- Sandwiched between last week’s disappointing loss to Pitt and ahead of next week’s daunting trip to Florida, the Tennessee Volunteers welcomed Tennessee Tech and after a bit of a slow start, got rolling and cruised to a 56-0 win Saturday afternoon at Neyland Stadium.

JEFFERSON CITY—Carson-Newman’s offensive struggles continued on Saturday as 16th-ranked Wingate rolled to a 25-3 victory over the Eagles at Burke-Tarr Stadium in a game that was delayed 98 minutes by lightning late in the third quarter.

JOHNSON CITY – Quay Holmes needed only nine yards to move into second place in career rushing yards for the East Tennessee State Buccaneers and it didn’t take long for him to accomplish that feat.
