Sharon Kay Acuff McAnally

Sharon Kay Acuff McAnally, born April 20, 1948, died Monday, February 22, 2021. She was saved at Puncheon Camp Missionary Baptist Church and was a member at Lake Shore Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Irene Acuff; and brother, Sam Acuff.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry McAnally; daughters, Angel (David) Johns and April (Randy) Hodge; son, Alex (Alisha) McAnally; grandchildren, Matthew (Hanna) Hodge, Caitlyn (Zack) Atkins, Zachary Johns, and Elijah and Mason McAnally; great-grandchildren, Carlie and Westin Hodge, and Kinslee and Braxtyn Atkins; sisters, Mildred Clark, Mattie Clark and Anita Williams; brothers, Doyal McCoy, Stanley Acuff and Jeff Acuff; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 24 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home, Rutledge. The family will receive friends noon – 2 p.m., Thursday, February 25 at Lakeshore Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. C.H. Dalton and Rev. Lowell Welch officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
