Ola Jean (Kinsler) Belcher, 78, of Sneedville, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, November 18, 2020. She was born on January 16, 1942, in Stonega, VA. She resided the majority of her life in Hancock County. At a young age, she professed faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Belcher; son, Michael Belcher; parents, Rev. Milum and Lillie Jane Kinsler; brothers, Adrion and Milum Kinsler Jr.; sisters, Williadean (Sissy) Nichols, Myrtle (Tootie) Russell, Marcella (Marcy) Wittman; and grandson at heart, Jamie Kinsler.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Julia Belcher; daughter at heart, Marilyn Kinsler; grandchildren, Ryan Belcher, Jonah Belcher, Keesha McFarland, and Seth Belcher; grandchildren at heart, Amy Shepard, April Trent, and Brandy Hopkins; 6 great-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren at heart; and host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Ola Jean was a pillar in her community, and her guidance and love was sought by many. Her home always had an open door policy, where you would receive love, advice, and a hot cup of coffee. She loved her Savior with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. She cared for everyone and was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2020, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McNeil Funeral Home.The funeral service will take place following visitation at 8:00 with Rev. Ronnie Kinsler officiating. Interment will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens and Mausoleum.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Belcher, Jonah Belcher, Seth Belcher, Nathan McFarland, Stacy Shepard, and Brady Trent. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Nichols and Greg Wittman.
