Nicole Ann Shirks Hatfield

Nicole Ann Shirks Hatfield, born August 5, 1983, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 and was laid to rest January 7 at Briar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. She was a member of Briar Creek Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Jean Shirks; uncle, Norman Kyle Wilder; and aunt, Audrey Faye Carson.

She leaves behind her family, Keith and Deloris Shirks, Bailey Shirks, Madison Shirks, Jaxon Shirks and Tyler Hatfield; sisters, Brooke (Dusty) Southerland and Emily (Jake) Anderson; nephews, Ryder, Breydon and Kylen Southerland; nieces, Riley, Hattie and Makenlee Anderson; grandparents, Rev. David and Joann Lawson, and Bill Shirks; uncles, Tim Lawson, Roger (Judy) Shirks and Michael Shirks; aunts, Vickie (Chris) Purkey, Anita Wilder, Kim (Joe) Davis, Glenda (Rick) Pennington, Teresa (Robert) Moore, Mary Wilder and Jackie (Pete) Woodard; and a whole host of cousins who she loved dearly.

Rev. Tommy Seals officiated the private graveside services.

Serving as pallbearers were Austin Davis, Dalton Purkey, Kameron Davis, Ryder Southerland, Dusty Southerland and Jake Anderson.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Joshua Davis, Caleb Davis, Breydon Southerland and Kylen Southerland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to McNeil Funeral Home to help with expenses.
