Michael Knox Hensley, 58, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Michael was saved at an early age and attended Mt. Vale Church of God. He was a skilled carpenter, builder and mechanic who loved antiques and painting.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Knox Hensley; and grandparents, George and Carrie (Morgan) Hensley and Willis Singleton.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Loeda Parks; sisters, Jenny (Clint) Anderson, Cathy (Burn) Anderson and Rebecca (Rick) Seals; grandmother, Martha Singleton; nieces and nephews, Rachael Reeves, Garrett Miller, Noelle (Travis) Mills, Caymon NeSmith and Brooklyn Seals; along with church family, cousins and friends.
The family expresses a special thanks to Richard and Wilma Peoples and all the nurses and staff at UT who helped him during his illness.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at a later date.
