Margaret Stewart, 83, of Thorn Hill passed away October 1, 2019.

She was born in Verda, Kentucky to Willie and Janie Hensley Napier. She was saved at a young age and was of the Pentecostal faith. She attended The Holiness Tabernacle and Mullins Chapel Pentecostal Church up until her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Marvin Hughes and Arnold Stewart; brother, Joe Napier; sisters, Martha Hensley & Ellen Sheckell; nephews, Bobby Napier & Mike Hensley

Left to mourn her passing are her son, Gilbert (Karen) Hughes of Indiana; sisters: Fannie (John) King of Thorn Hill, with whom she resided with for the last 20 years and Polly Napier, also of the home; grandchildren, Daniel Hughes, Ashely (Robert) Wieber and Jason (Rachel) Hughes, all of Indiana; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews Special thank you to Suncrest Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the McNeil Funeral Home

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard McCampbell Jr. officiating and providing the special music. Interment will follow in the King Family Cemetery Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Napier, James King, Dwight Jordan, Todd King, Richard McCampbell Jr. and John King.
