LaDonna Faye Smith

LaDonna Faye Smith, age 50, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and was the Senior Alpha Branch Office Administrator at Edward Jones Financial. She was a loving and devoted wife and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Lowe; brothers, Little Earl and Jackie Lowe; sister, Christine; and sister-in-law, Gwen Smith.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Trent Smith; brothers, Danny Lowe and Fain Lowe; sisters, Virginia Lowery and Gail; father and mother-in-law, Rodger and Wanda Smith; brothers-in-law, Kent (Melissa) Smith and Jason Smith; sister-in-law, April Sparks; nieces and nephews, Lenee Smith, Anja Sparks, Brenna Sparks, Derek Smith, Ezekiel Smith, and Melissa Hensley; special friends, Missy Peoples, Jenene Brady, Kelly Erny, Cathy Blevins, Linda Morelock, Sam Holt, Brian Hawk, Kathy Fullington, Margaret Stalans, Jeri Etta Bishop, Audra Osborne, Samantha Barbee, and her Pleasant Ridge Church family; and several other friends and extended family.

Special thanks to Dr. Ann Barnett and her nurses, Matt Brown and Kristina Robinson, and all the staff at U.T. Medical Center who cared for her during her illness.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, October 23rd at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Tim Jones officiating.

Family and friends will meet for an 11 a.m. graveside service on Saturday, October 24th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Dr. Kenny Boling officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Association or The American Alzheimer’s Association.
