Kenneth Danny Harris, 62, of Russellville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2019 at his home. He was a member of Russellville Baptist Church. Danny was saved at the age of 19 in December 1976. Danny loved hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved RVing and camping at the beach. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He loved his three girls. He was employed with OTICS. He previously worked with Berkline until their closure. He had recently purchased a tractor and began to farm.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nannie Virginia Purkey, and father-in-law, Donald Howington.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kim; daughter, Crystal, and granddaughter, Rae Trent; father, Kenneth C. Harris, mother-in-law, Betty Howington, brother-in-law and wife, Jeff and Jeanne Howington; sister-in-law, Kristi Howington; nephew and wife, Taylor and Whitney Howington, and niece, Madison Howington; three great nieces and nephews, Sadie, Wade and Kane.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Monday at Mayes Mortuary. The funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Gene Nelson officiating.

Interment will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Family will meet at the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. for the processional to the graveside service. Pallbearers are Jeff Howington, Taylor Howington, Jerry Howington, Marty Howington, Edward Winstead and Travis Winstead.
