Johnny Drinnon, 68, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was a member and song leader of Northside Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge #231.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Pearl Drinnon; sister, Nancy McCravey; and brother, Mackie Drinnon.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Susie Drinnon; son, Phillip Drinnon; brothers, Tommy (Carolyn) Drinnon and Danny (Marie) Drinnon; sisters, Billie (Rev. Lee) Seal and Margaret (Dean) Cope; sisters-in-law, Sheila (Paul) Ailey and Brenda Long; brothers-in-law, Tim (Tammy) McKinney and Chuck (Michelle) McKinney; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

The family expresses their thanks to the doctors and nurses of Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Fort Sanders Select Specialty for all of their care and support.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, April 8 at Alder Funeral Home with Masonic services at 7 p.m. followed by the funeral service with Rev. Terry Winstead and Rev. Lonnie Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m., Friday, April 9 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.
