Jackie Ray McBee

Jackie Ray McBee, 58, of Rutledge passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He had a big personality, and lived larger than life. He was an avid coon hunter and was a member of Narrow Valley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bessie Eula McBee; parents, Paul “Junebug” and Kathleen Parks McBee; twin children, Reggie Allen and Virginia Roxanne McBee; father-in-law, Joseph Edward Bull and brothers-in-law, Terry Holt and Roger Phelps.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Bull McBee; son, Rocky (Brandy) McBee; daughter, Chasity Bailey; grandchildren, Bryce McBee (Makenzie Hixon), Hunter McBee, Reggie McBee, Adrianna Buchanan, Emily Bailey, Kaitlyn Bailey, and Kylee Bailey; brother, Doug (Sue) McBee; sister, Deb Holt; ex-wife, Cindy McBee; mother-in-law, Sandra Bull; sister-in-law, Trina Phelps, and brother-in-law Tim Bull; many special nieces and nephews and special friends, Luke Stratton and Adam Bailey.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with funeral services to follow. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019, at New Blackwell Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Robert White and Rev. Kim Farrow will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be Bryce McBee, Reggie McBee, Hunter McBee, Heath Holt, Terry Holt, Tim Bull, Luke Stratton, and Adam Bailey.
