Minister Iva Jean Lee Mason Tucker, passed away peacefully to meet her savior, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Life Care Nursing Home in Jefferson City, Tennessee.

Minister Tucker was born on February 18, 1937 to Alfred and Annadale Lee.

She was a faithful minister and member of Friendship Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of The Americas in Morristown, Tennessee and a former member of Holy Bethel Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of The Americas in Chicago, Illinois.

She was the pianist for The Gospelettes of Morristown, Tennessee and played for several local churches.

She retired as a License Practical Nurse from Chicago, Illinois and Morristown, Tennessee.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Rev. Cecil and Roy Lee; and grandson, Darion Mason.

Minister Tucker is survived by her husband of 18 years, Oscar Tucker; son, David Mason of Morristown, Tennessee; daughter, Robyn Mason of Jefferson City, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, KaKeisha Morgan, DaKeya and Davion Mason all of Chicago, Illinois, Kiana Collins and Lathion Thompson both of Morristown, Tennessee; brother, Vacil Lee of Russellville, Tennessee and a host of relatives and friends to include special daughters, LaTonya Shipes, Sonya Logan and Lisa Young and special friends, Mary Riley and Mary Moore.

Special thanks to the nursing staff and hospice at Life Care Nursing Home, Jefferson City, TN.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home, with service to follow. Minister Tucker will be buried in Bent Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg, Tennessee following the services.
