Hobert Morris Kinsler, 84, of Kyles Ford, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Kyles Ford to the late B. and Ida Johnson Kinsler. He was saved at Fox Branch Missionary Baptist Church, and was later a faithful member and deacon of Kyles Ford Missionary Baptist Church. Hobert was also a U.S. Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Wayland Kinsler, Clifford Kinsler, Ray Kinsler, Jasper Kinsler and Coba Kinsler; four sisters, Ella Stidham, Calvie Goodman, Mary Umbarger and Una Leonard.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Kinsler; one daughter, Angela V. Kinsler of Sneedville, TN; sister, Jewell Shockley of Talbott, TN and many loved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 at Robinette Funeral Home in Blackwater, Virginia. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Glen Bradley and Rev. Glen Hurd officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, in the McPherson Family Cemetery. Those who wish to travel in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
