Gloria F. Parker Hibbard

Gloria F. Parker Hibbard, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

She fought the good fight, she kept the faith, and she is now in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a lifelong Morristown resident and Morristown High School graduate. Gloria had a long and varied successful career as a retail store owner, sales rep, Realtor and with her husband as bookkeeper/accountant of several entities. She was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with friends and family, especially her late husband Ray. All through her life Gloria loved her family with all her heart and was a protective sibling, doting daughter, loyal wife, nurturing mother and fun memaw.

The family wishes to thank Gloria’s friends and neighbors for their love, care and support over the years and especially the last few months of her life. She cherished each and every one of you. Gloria also wanted to note she was very fond and appreciative of the compassionate care provided by each of her physicians, their office staffs, each of the Home Health providers and Hospice care givers. She was a member of Manley Baptist Church of Morristown.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Hibbard, parents Eloise and Milburn Parker Jr., siblings Eddie Parker, Sandra Graves, Jay Parker and Dawn Rogers.

Survivors include sons, daughters-in-law and granddaughters Lawrence, Lorrie and Isabelle Taylor and Jeffrey, Ashley and Kristina Taylor, sister’s Ella “Shady” (Doug) King, Debbie (Jim) McGhee and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.
