Eugene “Gene” Kinder, 82, of Talbott, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Morristown Church of Christ, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and coach of girls softball for more than 25 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Hazel Kinder; and brothers, Jerry and Harold Kinder.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Kinder; son, Matthew (Angie) Kinder; daughter, Kara (Douglas) Winfield; grandchildren, Ashlynn (Andrew), Macy and Katie; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Harper; brothers, Don (Gail) Kinder and Kenneth (Beverly) Kinder; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 3 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City, prior to a memorial service at 7 p.m. with Blaine Kelly officiating.
