Dwight ‘Jug’ Jinks

Dwight ‘Jug’ Jinks, 63, of Bulls Gap, went peacefully to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 9, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends.

He was a local business owner in Bulls Gap, including, but not limited to, J & J Wrecker Service and Jug’s Place.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Lee and Carrie Long Jinks; brother, Jimmy Jinks; and sister, Dottie Jinks.

He is survived by his daughters, Misty Jinks, Marsha (David) Salyers and Cheryl (Mike) House; grandchildren, Wesley (Amelia) Harris, Jayma and Steven Barnes, Karilee Jinks and Macey Salyers, and was expecting his first great-grandchild in October; brothers; David Jinks, Donnie (Mollie) Jinks, Bobby (Marilyn) Jinks, Roger (Carol) Jinks; sister-in-law; Geraldine Jinks; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Thomas Laster; special friends, Allen “Big Al” Long, Jamie Rogers, Leslie Tieke, Steve Barnes, Karli Marshall, Jim Lee and Lynn Malone.

Special thanks to Laughlin Wound Care, the staff of Avalon Hospice and his special caregivers with whom he resided: Becky and Jimmy Smith and family.

The family will receive friends 3 – 7 p.m., Friday, July 12 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Bob Bentley and Rev. Jamie Rogers officiating. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, July 13 at Long Berry Cemetery.
